4th Stage of the Constructor's World Championship

D.N.S. (Did Not Start) 0286AM was driven in practice by Ferrari Team Drivers: Ascari, Carini, Maglioli, and Villoresi. Villoresi set fastest lap at four minutes forty seconds, but the car never raced. Ferrari pulled it from competition due to engine problems.

D.N.F. (Did Not Finish) - 0286AM was driven in the race by Villoresi who set the fastest lap, but had engine problems and did not finish.

ADAC 1000km, Nurburgring, German

1st Place -- Ascari and Farina drove 0286AM for the Scuderia Ferrari in the 1000km race. Ferrari withdrew its other team cars, and 0286AM outlasted the Lancias, Maseratis, and other European competitors to score its first win.

IV Carrera Panamericana "Mexico" Road Race

Luigi Chinetti upon receiving the official race plate license. The car was painted black and a full plexiglass windscreen was added before the race.

IV Carrera Panamericana "Mexico" Road Race

D.N.F. (Did Not Finish) -- Driven by Luigi Chinetti and co-piloted by Alfonso de Portago. During the first leg of the race, engine problems kept 0286AM out of the top ten. In the second leg, a hard fuel line broke sidelining the car. It did not finish in the maximum time allowed. Shortly thereafter Chinetti drove the car to Mexico City where he sold it to Carlos Braniff.
